Hello Ilda. So, tell me about yourself; where are you from?
I´m from Portugal, I´m born in Lisbon. I´m 42 years old and I´m a lawyer.
You´re a lawyer? Do you specialize in some kind of law?
Yes, in commercial and civil and family.
Ok. When did you start studying at ELC?
In January this year.
Why did you start studying here?
Because my husband works in South Africa and I think to move this year to South Africa and I need to practice my English
O.K. All right, good reason. So, what do you like about studying here?
I like the…. everything, I like the teacher, I like Caroline, I like the themes of the book, everything; it’s good.
So what areas do you feel that you have made most progress in?
Speaking because I study … English 20 years ago, and listen and write I don´t have problems but speak I´m very bad
How do you think English will help you in the future?
Yes, I think to to stay in a country when we talk English I think it´s very good because my speaking is not very good.
What advice would you give to other students coming here?
At ELC it´s very good the way of the teachers and the things you study here is better than the other place because my kids, I have 2 daughters and they study here and I verify they have a lot of progress in English at this school.
