Young Learners
We are proud to offer the highest quality English language courses for teenagers in a supportive, friendly and challenging atmosphere. Our approach focuses on improving communication skills as well as language accuracy.
Timetable:
1 hour 20 minutes twice a week Monday and Wednesday / Tuesday and Thursday, or
3 hours once a week (Fridays or Saturdays)
Course Content
Besides a chosen Course Book and Work Book, students have the opportunity to use:
- ELC’s library of graded readers
- ICT for written work and research
- English language films and music
Parents:
Parents receive written reports about their child’s progress twice a year.
We hold 3 parents’ evenings during the year. Parents have the opportunity to make an appointment any time of year with their child’s teacher.
Levels:
One academic year = 105 hours
Regular homework is given to consolidate class work.
We advise and support you if you are falling behind. We also recognise speedy progress and make sure you ‘jump up’ a level if appropriate.
