Levels
ELC uses the CEFR (Common European Framework of reference) as our level system and slightly adapts it to consider our student profile.
“This internationally recognised framework describes language ability in a scale of levels which ranges from A1 for beginners to C2 for those who have mastered a language”. http://www.cambridgeesol.org
One academic year = 105 hours Regular homework is given to consolidate class work. Teachers support students’ progress by giving regular feedback on class work.
We advise and support you if you are falling behind. We also recognise speedy progress and make sure you ‘jump up’ a level if appropriate.
